RGCB is celebrated World environment day 2023 at RGCB main and Aakulam Campuses on 5th June 2023. Planting of saplings, slogan and painting competitions for staff and students, demonstration of paper bag making, exhibition of bamboo utility products etc. were organized.
RGCB celebrated World Environment Day at RGCB Science Museum with students from Government Higher Secondary School and St. Josph's Girls Higher Secondary School, Meppadi, Wayanad District.

RGCB celebrated International Yoga Day 2023. RGCB Director, Prof. Chandrabhas Narayana announced that RGCB to conduct clinical research on Yoga's impact on cancer care: RGCB in collaboration with the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) and Satsang Foundation Kerala Kendra for conducting studies to understand the cellular mediations and establishing potential mechanisms of action for yoga on cancer care at the individual level. On the occasion, experts delivered talks on various aspects of yoga and its importance for maintaining physical and mental health to lead a stress-free life. This was followed by the demonstration of yoga asanas by Mr. Anish Babu of the Satsang Foundation for beginners

Wild Edibles Demonstration plot and Nursery established with the participation of tribal SHG under DST- SHRI- Tribal Heritage Project at Pattayakudi, Kanjikuzhi Gramapanchayath, Idukki District, Kerala was inaugurated by Prof. Chandrabhas Narayana, Director, RGCB on July 30, 2023.
