Resetting the immune homeostasis resolve multiple infectious/inflammatory diseases and malignancies. In this backdrop, the laboratory decodes the nexus of T cell subset cross-regulation and expansion at the cellular, metabolic and molecular scale with the model systems. The inter and Intracellular signaling gateways and genetic programs in the immune cells can then be calibrated to switch the information flow from 'dysfunctional' to 'the functional state'. We also program T cells with synthetic modular receptors such as Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CAR) or engineered antibodies for cancer immunotherapy applications.
