My research expertise is in the synthesis of small molecular fluorescent chemical probes, designing DNA-based tools and electrochemical DNA biosensors for cell imaging and biomarkers detection applications in living systems and biological fluids. I am interested in applying such cutting-edge methods to uncover new biology, both in cellulo and in vivo systems in the context of cancer, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.
