Profile
Micro & Nano Bio-Interface Lab (MANBI LAB) focuses on micro- and nanoengineering for biology and medicine, particularly interested in a deeper understanding of the micro-environments or the micro-nano-bio interfaces between synthetic functional advanced materials and biomolecules, and translation to advanced, clinically-relevant therapeutics and diagnostics using interdisciplinary approaches. The mission of the lab is to pioneer the cutting-edge and emerging discipline of bionanotechnology and bioengineering especially focusing on diagnostics, prognostics, and therapeutics. Furthermore, we also study the biophysical properties of synthetic biofunctional materials and biological system by designing microfluidic and nanofluidic systems (both 2D and 3D microfluidics).
