Mandatory instructions to be followed by the students

  1. Please make sure that the students applying for the internship program online should also contact the concerned faculty through phone or email before joining the institute.
  2. The training fee excludes food and lodging. Trainees should make their own arrangements for accommodation.

How to Apply?

  1. Candidates must apply by clicking Apply button in order to apply for training request. The email ID used must belong to the trainee. The email address must be valid and functional. All communications shall be sent only to the registered email address.
  2. If you have problems with or need assistance with the application, please contact lekshmir@rgcb.res.in / ramyarajan@rgcb.res.in.
  3. Applications can be submitted 6 months before your proposed training period.
  4. Students are to remit the fees online within three days of acceptance by the scientist. Guarantee cannot be given to those who fail to pay fees in advance. Fees once paid will not be reimbursed.
  5. Candidates are required to bring the duly filled and signed application form, a copy of their Aadhaar card, and three passport-size photographs at the time of joining. Upon arrival, kindly report to the Office of Academic Affairs at the C1 Jagathy RGCB campus or the C2 Akkulam campus to complete the joining formalities.

  7. Students should not apply to more than one faculty (laboratory) simultaneously.
  8. Those who apply for internship/project work in a laboratory are to wait for three days for acceptance.
  9. If acceptance is not received within three days they may approach another laboratory.

Refund Policy for Training/Internship Program Fees

  1. Training and internship fees are non-refundable once a participant has enrolled or the program has commenced. Refunds may be considered only if the student has not yet joined the program or internship activities. Requests for refunds can be made as follows:
    • 100% refund if requested at least 30 days before the joining date
    • 50% refund if requested at least 15 days before the joining date
    • 25% refund if requested at least 7 days before the joining date
  2. Refunds will not be granted once the training has started, if the student has accessed training materials or internship tasks, if a request is made less than 7 days before the joining date, or if the participant fails to attend or complete the program after enrollment.

  3. To request a refund, students must submit the request in writing through their supervisor, via email to the Office of Academic Affairs oaa@rgcb.res.in. Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 working days from the date of the request subject to the deduction of applicable GST.
