Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Laboratory Technician in a DBT funded research project entitled "Biomarkers of oral cancer risk prediction" in the Human Papillomavirus Research Program (Cancer Research) at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram. Our group investigates the contribution of HPV infections in several cancers with the aim of understanding cancer etiology and contributing to primary and secondary prevention of cancer.
- The candidate must have good academic record with first class Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an Institute accredited by the Director of Medical Education (State or Central Government)
- Experience in human tissue embedding, sectioning, development and standardization of immuno-histochemical staining etc. is preferable.
Below 28 years as on 14th March, 2019.
Rs. 12,000 + 20% HRA per month.
2 years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier.

Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. In the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed by screening the applications, a written test will be conducted before the selection interview and only those who are successful in the written test will be interviewed.
No TA/DA/Other emoluments will be given for appearing in the written test/interview.
